Posters and their images distinguish chapters of history and culture in America, and have been exhibited, and published, by the National Museum of American Art.

The Boys and Girls Clubs reach a great many people through the medium of art; as our forefathers and grandfathers have, they now use posters to freshen awareness of childrens' needs in our communities and our nation.

The image of this poster represents hope, trust, goals, leadership, development, accomplishment, and belief in finding solutions for childrens' needs. The children of this image are from six to sixteen years old, the age group The Boys and Girls Clubs accommodate in their programs. This composition is a pyramid representing stability and the strong foundation provided by The Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

These children are fixing arrow signs upon a pole to display their directions and goals, like coins tossed into a wishing well, for future development to meet their own needs. Behind these children are buildings which represent cities, countries and the world they will be facing in their near future. The colors are warm, bright and happy to encourage, as do The Boys and Girls Clubs, accomplishment and security, and to foster respectful citizens of the world.
